日本郵政グループのゆうちょ銀行は２００９年１月５日に、全国の民間金融機関が振り込み処理などに使っているコンピューターシステム（全銀システム）へ接続する。接続後は全国の金融機関と相互に振り込みができるようになるが、ゆうちょ銀の口座に振り込む場合は従来の番号とは別に、新たに割り当てられる振り込み専用番号が必要となる。（石井重聡） 針葉樹のアカエゾマツの苗木を同行が購入し、環境保全団体を通じて２０１０年秋に植栽。樹木は北海道大学に帰属する。国債を１００万円以上購入した顧客には、植林番号が記載された証明書が発行され、現地で“自分の木”を確認することも可能だ。 ゆうちょ銀の貯金は、多くの金融機関の現金自動預け払い機（ＡＴＭ）で預け入れや引き出しができる。しかし、口座番号の入力が必要となる振り込みは、新生銀行やスルガ銀行など提携先の２８金融機関との間でしかできなかった。全銀システムへ接続すると、銀行、信用金庫など約１４４０の民間金融機関との相互振り込みが可能になる。 日本銀行は２７日、少ない元手で多額の為替取引ができる「外国為替証拠金取引」（ＦＸ取引）の実態に関する調査結果を発表した。２００８年１〜３月期の取引口座数は１４２万口座、取引高は２２２兆円で０６年４〜６月期と比べて口座数で３・７倍、取引高で２・６倍にそれぞれ急増した。１日当たりの取引高は１・９兆円（０７年１〜３月期）で、日銀は、世界の外国為替市場の円スポット取引の１割程度にまで拡大していると推計している。
